THREAD:
1/ THERE WILL BE NO MUELLER REPORT: What is becoming clear is that there cannot be separate Mueller and OIG #SpyGate reports, there can only be a comprehensive Attorney General's report combining the two investigations most likely produced by Bagpipin' Billy Barr!

2/ This hypothesis relies on the DOJ having an obligation for Mueller's report to be accurate/unbiased and the assumption that before @MattWhitaker46 became acting AG the problem at Justice was that @jeffsessions and Rosenstein were recused from Mueller and #Spygate respectively.

3/ I surmise at some point during the Mueller investigation it became clear to Rosenstein that a stand alone Mueller report would not give a factual representation of what occurred during the 2016 election and that Horowitz's findings needed to be included in the final report.

4/ However, given that Rosenstein was a witness to McCabe's crusade against @realDonaldTrump and a signatory of the fourth Page FISA warrant, Rod would presumably have to recuse himself from Horowitz's investigation. This leaves the report being handed to the Mueller-recused AG.

5/ Here stood the dilemma at DOJ, how could Sessions and Rosenstein collate the Mueller and OIG probes into a comprehensive report while they were both recused from one investigation? This is why Rod was not allowed to resign because they would still be stuck with a recused AG.

6/ The plan then culminated into having Whitaker step in as acting AG unrecused from both Mueller and #SpyGate investigations so that the he (or Barr) could take both reports and produce a fair, factual product that the DOJ could stand by and not further tarnish their reputation.

7/ Complete conjecture, but this plan might have been conveyed to the President before the midterms by Rosenstein on AF1 and one of the main reasons Rod did not want him to declassify pertinent FISA documents, etc. prematurely. thehill.com/homenews/admin…

8/ Given the 53-47 senate majority, Whitaker will not have to take this task forward and from his senate testimony, it appears that Bagpipin' Billy Barr is committed to producing his own report potentially including material from both Mueller and Horowitz. washingtonpost.com/opinions/relea…

9/ I spoke about this with @412Anon87 on @PatriotsSoapbox and tend to believe this is why we've been waiting so long for the IG and/or Mueller's report and DECLAS. One investigation awaits the other unfortunately, but this will undoubtedly exonerate the President rest assured.
