People always ask me why I don’t make my content more acceptable to non disabled people online.

My question is: why would I?

Everything about disability seems to be made to abled people.

Movies, inspiration-bait ignore disabled realities in favor of inspiring nondisabled.
It’s disabled people that need connection, representation, understanding and inclusion.

Not half-assed mimicry of our lives so abled people can feel good about themselves.

We need people we can see and relate too. Not people who will smile in our faces to placate us while
Robbing us of any opportunities because they fear the competition.

What was I saying?

Oh yeah.

That’s why I don’t make disability content aimed at abled people they have plenty and I won’t be contributing to their (often) willful ignorance.
