Voted to Leave the EU in 2016...

..... and then in 2017 removed Government’s legislative majority to achieve it.

And by 2018 majority in polls* both back idea Brexit wrong, & Remain in a 2nd Ref,

but don’t in 2019 back actually holding that 2nd Ref.
I mean, I know people like to moan at MPs - but if you tell the Government to Brexit, and then takeaway its majority, and tell pollsters a majority would vote Remain, but majority also against having a Referendum - its going to be messy.

Not a single poll has had Leave ahead since last April - the only one in a year and a half. Only three polls since General Election 2017 have had a leave lead 2 of them in June 2017, 60 for Remain, now +9 avg in past few weeks:
