Yesterday's episode of Dan Bongino is a good listen. Check it out.

However, I'm not completely convinced of everything Dan said.

In particular, Dan claims that the Hillary Clinton campaign was behind a Glen Simpson WSJ report that linked John McCain to Oleg Deripaska.

The article was revised in May 2008. The original publication date, however, was April 2007.

I doubt the Hillary campaign was concerned about a potential GOP candidate at that point.

Even if Hillary was looking ahead, this Time poll from early 2007 suggests that Rudy Giuliani would have been her toughest opponent in the general election.

Why would she want to harm McCain's chances at the GOP nomination?

In John Heilemann's and Mark Halperin's book, Game Change, the authors claim, more than once, that McCain and Hillary considered each other friends.

And neither had many friends, especially McCain.

And then there's the Al Smith Dinner. In 2016, Trump was booed by the crowd for being mean-spirited.

Not John McCain. He brought down the house.

Here he is yukking it with his pal Hillary Clinton.
