Just read NY's new abortion law. It's shocking. It allows a healthcare practitioner to perform an abortion at ANY point to protect the patient's "life or health" based on the judgement of the practitioner. There is no definition of "health". Think about how broad that is....
I mean this is 3rd world stuff. You can justify late-term abortions up until birth with this based solely on the person performing the procedure viewing the baby as a risk to mother's health in any way. That can mean almost anything.

How can anyone support this?

Great point here regarding Omar’s support of the BDS movement: Omar supports sanctions on Israel allegedly due to the actions of the gov’t, but fiercely opposes them against a much worse regime in Venezuela.

If only there was a word for holding Jews to a different standard...
Also, worth repeating that Omar is spreading and parroting propaganda on behalf of one the worst regimes in the world after Democrats chose to put her on the powerful Foreign Affairs committee.
And this is all 2 days after she spread ridiculous and blatant lies about a bunch of high school kids and deleted without apologizing.

Yet Dem leadership hasn’t been asked about any of this. Mainstream media has almost ignored all of it. Must be nice to have a D by your name.

Definitely interesting to watch. AOC was caught in several blatant and ridiculous lies. WaPo asked her to support her claims, but she instead resorted to attacking legitimacy of her critics.

When Trump does this stuff, media flips out. When AOC does it, very diff reaction.
It’s hilarious. She’s actually attacking the credibility of an Obama admin alum who wrote a study for CAP!!! just because she can’t handle people pointing out that she has no idea what she’s talking about.
For those confused: AOC was in such a hurry to discredit the fact-check that she even got the facts wrong about the source. The study was actually published on behalf a far-left think tank (not a “Walton-funded think tank”).

Scary stuff.
Someone should ask Dem leadership about that. Pelosi chose to put her on that committee so she should have to explain why it's alright to side with brutal dictators starving their people over moderate leaders trying to take their country back....

1/There is much fear mongering by the Left of the #KavanaughSCOTUS, particularly a threat that his seat will somehow overturn Roe v. Wade, 410 U.S. 113 (1973). No doubt, most of those pushing this narrative have never read the Roe decision (caselaw.findlaw.com/us-supreme-cou…).
2/It's important to note that the Left doesn't bring up Planned Parenthood v. Casey, 505 U.S. 833 (1992), where the Court re-affirmed its Roe decision, with some minor changes (law.cornell.edu/supremecourt/t…).
3/Roe challenged Texas' statute criminalizing abortions with the exception of "saving the life of the mother" and, at times, rape or incest (noe: Norma McCorvey ("Roe") lied that she was raped, but didn't produce a police report, so she was denied).

I had insurance, could afford my healthcare my whole life. Why complain? The democrats destroyed it! Obama lied about how many didn't have "health care". It's MORE now. It's was never healthcare. It was an insurance scam.
There was never a health CARE problem. There was a COST problem.
Cost of giving "free" stuff to those who had no accountability for it was the CAUSE of the problems. It began with medicaid/medicare.
We were giving it to people who were illegal aliens as well as the poor.
