Yesterday we once again witnessed another tactical masterclass by Ole. He really had a solid game plan which arsenal couldn’t respond to. #MUFC.
The first real tactical switch he made was deploying Lingard as a false 9 and Lukaku on the right-wing. Lingard was quite brilliant in that role and Lukaku was even better on the wing as he played to exquisite passes for the first-goals. #MUFC
Another thing Solskjaer did yesterday was to always leave his three attackers up the field. Yesterday #MUFC gave a clear case study of how to use the counter-attack. It was reminiscent of the times we’ve gone to the Emirates (09-10) and destroyed with the same game plan.
Matic & Herrera have really struck up a good combination in the middle of the park. That has enabled the mercurial Pogba to work his magic up the field and boy has he delivered. Pogba is currently the most in-form central mid in Europe. He’s phenomenal. #MUFC
I really feared that Pogba would never fulfil his potential at #MUFC. Look it wasn’t all bad when Jose was there. His stats are actually quite good. But, now his playing with that flamboyance and arrogance of a superstar that he is. It’s beautiful to see.
It doesn’t matter which opposition Ole has faced but winning 8/8 is a huge achievement. He really hasn’t put a foot wrong and most importantly he has galvanized the players and fans. Manchester United is a happy club again. That’s so important. #MUFC
Next match is against Burnley at OT and we have to win that. The race for the top four is gonna go down to the wire. #MUFC definitely have the momentum. Chelsea & Arsenal will be really worried. Also looking forward to the PSG match. However, we’ll take it one game at a time.
