@aaronjmate Yes I can criticize it very specifically. During the siege of Ghouta she made a video questioning the validity of the atrocities reported by Syrian civilians trapped in the city. She did this after being paid to do so by the Russian government. 1/2
@aaronjmate 2/2 As part of a larger attempt to discredit the reports of atrocities she claimed the White Helmets were Al Qaeda linked(a lie pushed by her employers) and that they work exclusively in opposition areas(also a lie.) Here r the WH working w the SARC. A common occurrence...

@aaronjmate I dare say “listen to the propaganda outlet of the powerful government whose Air Force is bombing Douma... don’t listen to the terrorist rescuers in Douma. Also the people dropping bombs pay me.” Is a corrupt way to report. Especially when u haven’t been in an air bombed zone!
@aaronjmate I fully believe neocons who go on TV to comment on war should disclose their links to defense companies + the bias it creates. The idea that Rania doesn’t have a responsibility to say “oh fyi I am funded by the government which is dropping these bombs,” is outrageous + disgusting
@aaronjmate Now on to the politics of it. Rania has tweeted support to a Syrian pilot who was shot down. This would be disgusting if it was an Israeli or Saudi pilot. She publicly opposed sanctioning Issam Zahreddine, who killed civilians, murdered journalists + told refugees never to return
