Bold statement, implying everything the EU has said about the Withdrawal Agreement being final is not true. Seems on the face of it unlikely.
Starts to look like a rerun of the Salzburg summit fiasco, where the PM is absolutely convinced she can secure change to an EU red line, this time if MPs show backing.
Still this unless we all stand to be amazed.
For once I disagree with @JGForsyth - this is a move in the direction of no-deal. The PM is lining up Conservatives in what appears to be a futile quest to change her own deal. ERG MPs now just need to hold steady, they appear to be winning blogs.spectator.co.uk/2019/01/it-wou…
And if this is right Labour are also not going to do anything substantive to prevent no-deal. But let us see, for much could change in the next 24 hours. But as of tonight it looks like no-deal has become a lot more likely. theguardian.com/politics/2019/…
As a reminder this is what EU Deputy Negotiator @WeyandSabine said earlier today. Don't expect a reverse. Other options will either have no legal force or tie the UK even more closely. Worrying times.
