If you voted Brexit wanting/expecting a deal with the EU but now you want #NoDealBrexit, then YOU have changed your mind about what relationship you want with the rest of the EU. If you have that right, WE ALL DO!

The 2016 referendum didn't permanently put the 52% in charge!
Deal and No Deal are completely different relationships with the EU.
(Arguably Deal is closer to Remain than No Deal)
"Leave" just ends our current relationship. It can't give Brexiteers carte blanche to decide which one *most* of 37% of the electorate want.

Actually, a young guy we met in Leeds yesterday called that the "Tyranny of the minority of the majority" because ending up with No Deal would be something that only a small part of those who voted Brexit actually wanted at the time.

I've made this very clear time and time again. So please be aware that there are those who are intentionally choosing pretend they don't understand what I mean and what I don't mean.
The hashtag & "quotation marks" show I'm referring to specifically to what someone said on question time.
If I'd said 'Could people with their own popcorn stop stealing mine" that wouldn't mean that everyone with popcorn is stealing mine. (esp. with the hashtag #ThePopcornThief)

If a parliament elected to represent our interests, and whose sovereignty is at the heart of our constitution, chooses not to ensure we avoid a #NoDealBrexit the British Medical Association calls "catastrophic" for the NHS, our democracy is broken beyond repair.

THREAD - Yorkshire Man on the Train
On the train from Halifax to Leeds I met a man (pro-Brexit, low seventies, from Ripon in North Yorkshire). He didn't want his picture taken so I'll try not to reveal more than that, but he deserved a THREAD.
He spotted my t-shirt, and asked me about it. He voted out and opposes a second referendum, but also thinks we weren't given enough information and that the referendum should never have been called. But that wasn't the crux of the conversation.
I asked him what change he felt the country needed and he spoke for 30 minutes straight and not once did he mention the EU.
"Get rid of the House of Lords...It's a retirement home for old codgers"

First up - the Withdrawal Agreement isn't getting reopened. That's still the line, see second para in letter, which is here /2

No10 says EU must decide if it will release a letter of assurances before the vote on Tuesday but EU sources tell me they are waiting for the go-ahead advice from Downing Street 1
The letter could have been released Saturday night ahead of No10 Sunday media blitz but wasn’t .. It could be released tonight or tomorrow ahead of vote .. OR EU/No10 may decide better not since 2
The EU letter will I’m told contain assurances/explanations of current deal and nothing new. The letter would come from Juncker/Tusk in Brussels and they can’t change the #Brexit deal without negotiation with and go ahead from 27 EU leaders 3

1) While all versions of #Brexit under the sun are being thought about in Parliament there’s no whiff of the EU changing its position
2) EU member states are not (yet) discussing the possibility of a second referendum or an extension of article 50 negotiating time amongst themselves
3) Regardless of the result of the vote in parliament on 11th, the EU is adamant the deal on the table is the best compromise for both sides - they say they can and will go no further

Jaguar Land Rover recently agreed 2 build a new plant in Slovakia with EU grant, owned by Tata, same company who trashed our steel industry & emptied workers pension funds.

1) Thread - All Brexits are bad and what we voted for
It's often said by brexiters that "it's not all about economics"
However, the *actual* Leave campaign was almost wholly about economic arguments

With the leak of this 2-8% report those arguments are now trashed
2) We seem to have forgotten this however economics played a huge part in the Vote Leave campaign, making up over 2/3rds of the primary arguements. The clear message was we would at the least be no worse off and at best much better off. 4 of the 6 below state this clearly
3) & the fact is voters believed we would be no worse off. People prioritized immigration certainly, but against a backdrop of there being no consequences from Brexit - few are prepared to actually pay for ending FoM
