Virtually all no-deal Brexit supporters continually contradict themselves because if we don't need a deal with the EU to economically prosper then we also don't need trade deals with anyone else. (repost, typo in original)
A second contradiction is that if they are right the UK can prosper with no EU deal then the free market economics most espouse is also wrong, in that it will turn out barriers to trade are not in fact an obstacle to prosperity
The logical carry-through is that those pressing for no-deal are in fact advocating isolationist UK not the global UK they often claim. Which is actually consistent with their continued attacks on multinational business and claims Brexit will reshore production.
It is in turn striking that if you talk to the main business groups in countries such as Japan and the US that their main priority is not a trade deal between their country and the UK, but one between the UK and the EU
Global Britain is what we already have. Brexit does not necessarily help or hinder this. No-deal Brexit does, and should really be called 'Friendless' or 'isolationist' Brexit.
Another contradiction - we're going to lead the world towards free trade while being protectionist towards the EU
