What the fuck does “practical” mean, if it means we won’t care for the sick?

I mean I’m just spitballing but maybe what we first need is a recognition that universal healthcare is a human right and a political will to deliver it, and “Medicare for all” is a useful way to express that recognition and indicate that will.
If you don’t think “Medicare for all” works as universal healthcare policy than give us your vision of universal healthcare that will, because otherwise all you’re saying is that you aren’t going to work for universal healthcare and if that’s the case we’ll find someone who will.
I’m not done with him. I’m not canceling anyone. It’s 2019. Let him try again. But recognize the moment. There will be candidates working for UHC, and they’re going to pick up support.
This isn’t about the intricacies of policy. That’s important but that comes later.
