This is excellent. I frequently see journalists do this: “I’m gonna stop you there. Do you think he’s/she’s racist?” You’re supposed to back up. Trump was sued by the DOJ for housing discrimination in 1973. His company put a “C” for “Colored” on the housing apps of Black ppl.
He was never made to answer any serious inquiry about this during his campaign. This was before tha racist immigration rhetoric, the attack on the impartiality of a Mexican-American judge that even Paul Ryan called classic racism. Before “s***hole countries.”
Before the NFL SOB tirade. Before the bogus voter fraud commn. Before the attacks on @abbydphillip & @AprilDRyan. Before the ugly disparagement of @RepMaxineWaters. Before the repeated use of “Pocahantas” to taunt Elizabeth Warren.
So the question really is: what do broadcast journalists & those at our most influential newspapers think is sufficient to justify the conclusion that a public figure is racist?
