Judging by the box office, the best sci-fi action film a lot of you haven't seen is "Upgrade." You should rectify that as soon as possible.

I didn't think there could be anything new under the sun with action films, but I gasped out loud at least three times during "Upgrade." Brilliant use of action choreography to highlight the character of the unusual partnership at the heart of the story.
In an age of CGI oversaturation and bloated budgets, "Upgrade" punches way above its weight and delivers a good sci-fi spectacle through sheer craftsmanship. It's been a while since I saw a movie that deserved a BIGGER budget than it had.
And in a time of embarrassing half-baked franchise-starters that feel like long teasers for sequels that never get made, "Upgrade" has a conclusive ending, and yet a sequel would be welcome. Much more to explore with this world and its characters. /end

Few groups are treated with more icy contempt by the American political elite than the victims of illegal alien crime. They get an even colder shoulder than the people who got screwed by Obamacare.
As I was saying:

All politics is an inherently dishonest and callous game of maximizing perceived benefits and hiding costs. The people who posture as champions of compassion are no less cruel when they play the game. They just convince themselves the people hurt by their policies don't matter.

And even on the wall, there is some value in showing the American people how much their political elite despises them, how the open border lobby will eagerly protect special interests and foreign citizens at the expense of Americans. We needed this stuff out in the open.
The wall is simple, a straightforward engineering project with a relatively fixed cost (subject to the usual government bloat, of course) and progress that can be measured with a ruler.
If our political class can't handle a project as simple as the wall, how could anyone possibly trust them with the more complicated, expensive, and easily sabotaged aspects of border security?

One important point to understand about the #GreenNewDeal mindset is that socialists HATE middle-class people having access to cheap energy. They really thought they were going to put a stake in the middle-class heart under Obama, who dreamed of $10/gallon gas.
Cheap energy screws up every assumption of socialism. It makes all goods and services cheaper, which gives the middle class more purchasing power. That's very bad for the authoritarian Left, which wants people dependent on government for their needs.
When vital goods and services are cheap and readily available, people don't think an all-powerful maternal government is necessary. Attacking the American energy industry offers the Left a way to make EVERYTHING more expensive, all at once.

There is something off about the Liam Neeson story. Is it the unidentified woman? His offering up it up so randomly? The bizarre details of his week long hunt hoping an innocent black man will attack him. I don't know. But if a #metoo story emerges for him I won't be surprised
The woman was someone he was living with it seems as he went out every night & she asked him where he was going. So a girlfriend or a housemate. This will narrow down the number of people it could be considerably & could even identify her to those who know him well

1. As I think most persons paying attention now realize, the investigation into foreign interference with the 2016 election was created as a cover for domestic interference with the 2016 election.
2. It was run at the highest (or deepest) Deep State levels by the likes of James Clapper and John Brennan, whose frantic and hysterical Tweets are like no utterances of any CIA director in history.
