Our session with @LiamFox has now started. Keep an eye on our twitter page for updates and watch live here: goo.gl/hKxVwX
.@LiamFox: It’s not in anyone’s interest to have no deal …. It would undoubtedly cause economic disruption. #trade #Brexit
.@nigelmp asks: Can you give a guarantee that we will be leaving the EU on 29 March?
@LiamFox: The Prime Minister made clear to the Cabinet yesterday that the focus is on leaving on 29 March.
.@ChrisLeslieMP asks about reports that the UK is planning to unilaterally drop tariffs in the case of 'no deal'.
.@LiamFox: Unilaterally dropping tariffs is a possibility, but this may expose the UK to sudden competition and erode preferences in developing countries.
.@CatherineWest1: How realistic is it that the Government Procurement Agreement will be ratified before the end of March?
.@LiamFox: The UK offer is agreed in principle. Difficulty over wording to cover deal and no deal. I am confident we will be able to accede to GPA in time.
.@AngusMacNeilSNP: Have all the countries that you are negotiating with agreed to roll over their EU trade agreements?
.@LiamFox: The best way of guaranteeing trade continuity is through the Withdrawal Agreement.
.@MattWestern_: What are you doing to advise businesses preparing for the consequences of any EU agreements not being rolled over in 'no deal'?
.@LiamFox: Technical notices for business will be issued in next two weeks if it looks likely that any agreements won’t be rolled over.
