The misogyny and talking about her husband is unnecessary and beneath us all. I have seen these sentiments shared from Black men on Sen. Harris far too often. This has nothing to do with her record. It’s abt something else that’s toxic..
That has no place here and I’m not standing for it. Because today it’s Kamala tomorrow it’s another black woman. So I’m not silencing the voices of Black men - especially when it comes to political conversation - we need you!...
Your voices are vital here, a critical convo about her record is key, but I implore you to engage in a high level conversation instead of stooping to the distasteful and frankly disappointing level of Uncle Luke. Tis all!

Mollie Tibbetts was murdered b/c she told a man to leave her alone while she was jogging. Her murderer happens to be undocumented. This isn’t about border security. This is about toxic masculinity. Mollie Tibbetts lost her life b/c a man couldn’t take her saying no. Full stop.
Her murderer actually might not even be undocumented. Regardless it is problematic for people to characterize an entire community based off the actions of one person. The majority of mass shootings in America are carried out by white men. So are we going to round them all up?...
That logic is asinine, archaic and flawed. I’d love if we could have a real conversation about how women’s lives are literally in danger because some men do not know how to check their egos. How many more women have to die before we can address this?...

It’s shocking to me the lengths folks will go through to normalize what’s happening under the rmbrells of “making sense of it all”. As a great speaker once said, “normal is dangerous.” And I would venture to say, just because it’s normal, it doesn’t make it right.
I’m pained by the ways in which reporters, hosts & professional politicos have “normalized economic anxiety” in attempts to make sense of racism. I’m really struck by the idea that the president & his supporters ? truth b/c it’s par for the course for what his supporters believe.
All of this is dangerous. The way some have chosen to take white supremacist ideology & elevate it as though it’s a new phenomenon challenging our conventional thinking. The way some have gone through great lengths to explain away the erratic & baseless behavior by the president

1. I am into any business related to farming. So the other time I wanted to go farm maize in Rift Valley for commercial purposes, some senior Ministry of Agriculture officer told me that the best thing to do is wait for people to farm then buy the produce from the farms. #Thread
2. I became curious in understanding the mess in the sector and how our farmers could be helped. So I was told how the serious fraudulent scheme works.
3. Ministry of Agriculture personnel and people they are close to have understood that its not economically viable to plough, harrow, plant, weed while hoping that the weather is good that season. It's based on pure luck.
