Sounds to me like you chickened out on Green New Deal Select Committee because you would actually be required to produce results & not just wave your arms and babble words about things you really don’t understand. cc: @lauferlaw @SpeakerPelosi @AOC
The more @AOC talks, the more obvious her ignorance. @MTPDaily Study more, learn b4 acting as if you know it all. You don’t. Your inexperience is woefully obvious. It’s hard work & takes years to master complex technical subjects.
So far @AOC is full of sound and fury, signifying very little. @MTPDaily

@lauferlaw @AOC You are exactly right counselor. Wildly unrealistic proposals discredit the whole environmental movement. I did my first environmental science project at 14 & won science fairs w/ it. Was on original Green Chemistry cmte 96-97, & spent career in renewable materials &En.
@lauferlaw @AOC 2/Have 36 patents (inc international) & spent career developing &commercializing tech. It’s a long haul to dev tech, build national infrastructure once developed & time to convert legacy industries. Hydrogen is just entering use after 20 yrs priority in JP & DE
@lauferlaw @AOC 3/ Hydrogen train (1) now in use in Germany. Toyota just introduced H2 trucks in LAshipyards, so this is progress. At least 20yrs development for these first steps. Solar still isn’t affordable for middle class.10 yrs to recoup costs STILL! Checked in 94 & recently.

I live in #RVA , family all across state. Country Granma showed me Numbers 12 after Selma. God disapproved racism.
@TomArnold @lauferlaw Numbers 12 tells of Miriam contracting leprosy because she “spake against Moses for marrying an Ethiopian woman.” She showed me this in her bible after the Selma march, saying “God does not want us to be against colored people,” a term many used then. #RVA So not all Virginians.

@LGJustinFairfax I do think this story is politically motivated but NOT by @GovernorVA I think it’s by right wing to change the narrative away from Trump & sew discord among @vademocrats & divide & conquer & suppress voter enthusiasm in 2019 Va & 2020 Pres elections.
Yes. @FairfaxJustin @LGJustinFairfax I agree. The timing of BOTH STORIES is highly suspect. Just in time for Trump’s SOTU address, now two very prominent promising highly electable @TheDemocrats have a black eyes & bloody noses (figuratively) dominating news, not Roger Stone.2/
These tactics SMELL of Roger Stone/LeeAtwater styledirty tricks. @FairfaxJustin , you’re too young to know it from 60s & late 80s. @GovernorVA was in the army, not politics then, but I know it when I smell it. No press coverage of Roger Stone or Executive time, just SOTU. @DNC

First, to quote the great Ann Coulter, it's laughable to think that any Founder, Framer or Amender of the Constitution intended for American citizenship to be the prize in a game of Red Rover with the Border Patrol. We're a nation of laws, after all.
Second, #14Amendment was one of three emancipation-related amendments to the #Constitution, designed to grant citizenship to former slaves and their children. The congressional record shows nobody believed 600,000 Americans died to give Congress the chance to open the borders.

UCC had opportunity to comment on the #Data.Protection & Privacy Bill. The enactment of this law is long overdue. A comprehensive law on the collection & processing personal information gives effect to the right to Privacy envisaged under Article 27(2) of the Constitution
UCC welcome the protections offered by the Bill in terms of export of data, breach notification requirements, data subjects access rights, automated decision making, compensation and the right to be forgotten and provision for financial and penal sanctions for breach of the law.
Distinction between Data collectors & data controllers.
The Bill should however clarify & distinguish Data Collectors, from Data Processors & Data Controllers. Clause 2 is inconsistent with international good practice which provides for two broad categories of Data Controllers
