@lauferlaw @AOC 2/Have 36 patents (inc international) & spent career developing &commercializing tech. It’s a long haul to dev tech, build national infrastructure once developed & time to convert legacy industries. Hydrogen is just entering use after 20 yrs priority in JP & DE
@lauferlaw @AOC 3/ Hydrogen train (1) now in use in Germany. Toyota just introduced H2 trucks in LAshipyards, so this is progress. At least 20yrs development for these first steps. Solar still isn’t affordable for middle class.10 yrs to recoup costs STILL! Checked in 94 & recently.
@lauferlaw @AOC 4/ Lots of waste fr solar as well. Solar films r placed on plastic frames. Plastics were UV degradable. Doh! Startups often aren’t ready 4 prime time. A solution as w biotech/BigPharma is symbiotic rel btwn solar/windw large companies w know how & deep pockets & infrastructure.
