Fun fact: All but 6 of the 20 richest people on the 2018 Forbes list are American & they hoard a combined $907 BILLION. That's right just 14 people (3 Waltons, 2 Kochs & 9 others) hoard nearly a trillion dollars while most Americans face ruin if they miss a single paycheck. GREED

I realize that quote above seems nonsensical without the preceding sentence. The 37 million years refers to how long average-earning UK citizen would need, the 20 million years is for the above-mentioned American citizen.

Seeing this picture, esp. his sad eyes & defeated expression, I realize it's not just racism that attracts these guys to Trump. I think they identify with him as a fellow loser, seriously. When we attack Trump for poor grammar, misspellings, ignorance - I bet they like him more.
I've long wondered how they could identify with a billionaire born rich & handed everything, but now I see it. They don't love him for his success so much as for his failures. Bankruptcies, divorces, constantly harassed for his ignorance & bad behavior - that's the draw.

Single white child is kidnapped & it makes national news as every parent imagines horror of unimaginable - inconceivable pain those parents must be going thru. Trump admin kidnaps 1000s of children & says it's not worth trying to return them. GOP cares not a whit. Ultimate racism
The racism that permits this is extreme - it says not only do we not care about trauma inflicted on brown children, we also don't believe the parents truly suffer. It's the kind of racism that says non-white parents don't feel the way white parents would - they're less than human
It's the kind of extreme racism that equates non-whites with animals & believes they don't have same feelings for their children that white parents do. It's the kind of racism that allowed whites to sell a slave's children & pretend their pain was insignificant.

We should be freaking out far more than we are. We know Trump is working w/ Putin. We know he's a sociopath & traitor who would gladly destroy America or Americans. We know he's lawless & wants to be dictator, not president. We know GOP is backing him & clearly in Putin's pocket
Those who think this is no big deal & point to the many times prior presidents declared states of emergency aren't getting it. Trump is NOT a normal president. That declaration expands his powers dramatically & allows him to do things that would be illegal now.
Read the article - under a state of emergency, he could shut down Internet, freeze our bank accounts, take over websites, collect our communications. He could turn America into a dictatorship overnight. Don't say GOP won't let him do it. They will. They're part of this treason.
