so let me tell you a lil tale about a woman named Sara Winter and anti-feminism in Brazil. Warning: this thread will contain a lot of outrageous plot twists, and they're all real. Ready? Ok.

About 10 years ago, the feminist started slowly growing on the Brazilian side of the internet. Through social networks (mostly Facebook at the time) people were starting to organize, create groups, exchange ideas and knowledge. It wasn't perfect, but damn it was impressive.

as the movement gained momentum in Brazil, Femen (remember?) was also gathering attention abroad. So in 2011/12, a woman going by Sara Winter started presenting herself as the leader of a new Femen cell in Brazil. Now, she was met with a good dose of skepticism since the start

the reasons for that, you ask? Well, maybe it was her nom de guerre, which referenced a well known British Nazi supporter en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sarah_Win…

or maybe it was, you know, the fact that there was something that stood out way more than her tiddies did in all those topless protests: A WHOLE FUCKING IRON CROSS TATTOO ON HER CHEST

Sara claimed criticizing her for these choices wasn't fair, that she had gotten the tattoo when she was younger (she was about 20 at the time lmao) and ran with a different crowd. A few people gave her the benefit of the doubt (do I need to say that they were white?)

oh, she also was an open admirer of Plínio Salgado, who in the 1930s had founded in Brazil a movement inspired in Italian fascism.

So: she walks like a nazi, talks like a nazi, gets nazi tattoos. What is she? A feminist of course, according to herself & other white folks

As the leader of Femen, Sara didn't accomplish much more than attracting news cameras hungry for titties. By 2013 her story with Femen was coming down to a pretty spectacular car crash, as her Ukranian counterparts accused her of embezzling funds g1.globo.com/mundo/noticia/…

by now, this garbage fire passing itself as a person had become downright famous. All the protests with no real substance had paid off: she had an online following (including lots of haters) and news talked about her at a time when the country was an absolute shitshow.

but after her break with Femen, our greedy bitch Sara needs to find a way to keep the $attention$ coming. And remember: '13 was the beginning of the intense unrest that led us to our current predicament, where a literal bag of stinky shit is running the country.

the intense street protests of that year exposed a rift that had been growing: on one side, various progressive, revolutionary movements that were becoming more organized & cohesive, on the other the same elites who clung to power since for-fucking-ever.

so our girl Sara did what every good nazi does: ran right back into the arms of the latter, to the surprise of no one. Her rehabilitation w the right didn't happen overnight; she worked hard licking the boots of every military in sight & kissed more asses than we'll ever even see

she also found Jesus, in the terms of whatever Christian denomination was paying her at the moment. And, most significantly, she fashioned herself a 'reformed feminist' and spokesperson on the ills of the movement. She wrote a book detailing her experiences that I haven't had +

the guts to read, tbh. The cover is atrocious, and hate-reading her social media is already torture enough. Anyway, she started touring churches and right-wing gatherings with her new, anti-feminist gospel. Of course, the right loved her. She spoke of how feminists made women +

become lesbians, not shave, reject motherhood, have abortions. She spoke against the imagined threat of 'gender ideology'. All the bullshit you've heard before. And in the process she cozied up with -- you guessed it -- Bolsonaro, of course.

and now, in breaking news, her efforts have been rewarded with a government position. This lying, scheming, greedy, disgraceful piece of nazi shit who claims to have been 'cured' from feminism is getting nominated for the National Board for Women.

I repeat: this sack of excrement, a self-described 'pro-life' and 'pro-family' activist who chose a name that celebrates a nazi and has a nazi tattoo, will be responsible for public policy related to maternal care.

As if we didn't have enough tragedies as it is.

tl;dr: Sara Winter, newly appointed to the National Secretary for Women in Brazil, is a nazi, with nazi tattoos and a nazi name who says she's been 'cured from feminism' by God. She'll be responsible for public policy re: maternal care. We're all fucked.
