"Shouldn't they have awarded the Southeastern Franchise by now?"
The answer, of course is 'Yes Mr Bull they should. What's the hold up?'

Well it TURNS OUT that if you as a Department for Transport, tell bidders they have to shoulder the risk if your passenger number forecasts turn out to be bollocks post-Brexit, they tend to tell you to F-off
Of course if this had been thought about at the time, it could have been worded into the bidding. OR.. if the Sec State was prepared to accept that the DfT have to shoulder the risk, then it wouldn't be a problem.

But they didn't. And he won't.

Been a while since I did a history thread, so let's talk about a subject very dear to me:

Cheese

Specifically, how the LAST period of isolation from Europe and enforced austerity almost destroyed the glorious cheese of the north of England FOREVER

Let's talk about Wensleydale.
The Yorkshire Dales produce some of the finest cheeses in the world. They're the product of love, local cheesemaking knowledge and unique geography and weather (which affects local milk, bacterial culture etc).

Foremost among them (to my mind) is a good Yorkshire Wensleydale.
If you're not familiar with Dales cheeses they're white, rich and...

...well look. Just go eat some okay?

Or read this official Government definition. Honestly it's the BEST. Find someone who looks at you the way the author of this looks at Wensleydale.

The QAnon crowd has been really shaken up by Dems taking the House. Lots of disillusionment on their forums, accusations that Q is, in fact, totally made up.
You might think it'd be good for QAnon believers to start wondering if it's all fake! But instead, they're mostly just convinced "Q" needs to cut to the chase and institute a military dictatorship.
Here are some QAnon believers getting disillusioned by losing the House. Turns out if you convince your fans that Democrats are Satanic pedophiles, they'll be upset when they take over part of the government! (h/t @travis_view)

New York's top court has removed a state judge who was convicted of DWI, tried to use her position to get out of it, was sentenced to jail, presided over the arraignment of a former client, and made "undignified" comments to people in court, and some other things.

The Evidence Obtained Outside Cameras will not show any evidence of ‘tempering’ but other than license plates of dozens of diplomatic cars (Many with tinted windows-large trunks) with related time stamp, drivers Info, model/year: Nothing.
#Turkish Intel-Investigative Bodies also have the list of all Diplomatic & Private Saudi & “other significant’ Planes in #Turkey for the period of ‘interest.’ Many of the Target airports have their own security cameras & related evidence.
