Not sure “sample size of 22 apparently cherry picked off Wikipedia by a media outlet with a clear ideological agenda” meets my usual definition of “rigorous study”.
Remember kids, just because it has a p value and a pretty graph, doesn’t mean it’s “rigorous”. Data collection methods matter.
Quillette claimed their heavy coverage of the “Sokal squared” hoax was about standards in science not ideology. Their publication of this nonsense, which wld fail any UG quant methods course, rather calls that into question. Seems there’s a lower standard for “science” they like
