3. My ancestors suffered unspeakable horrors at the hands of British colonialists. My extended family is still suffering from the aftermath of the partition of India by the British, including the terrorist attack in Kashmir this week. Nothing Karen wrote is colonialist.

1. Unintended Benefit of Trump's Declaration of National Emergency
While I didn't want President Trump to declare national emergency for funding the wall, because I thought and still think he could reallocate the funds needed for the wall without the emergency measure. ...
2. I don't understand why or how Obama could reallocate funds to his priorities but Trump can't. Be that as it may, done is done. While I am wary of the concept, I am not too concerned because it is highly specific in objective, narrow in scope and dollar amount.
3. That said, I have a sneaking suspicion (lawyers, please weigh in) that a national emergency allows a President to do more than just reallocate funds. It may also give the President access to some powers that the President does not normally have.

Nowhere in the article is he quoted saying the words in the headline that 96,000 people have rage shared.

The words have just been plucked out of the air by one of your Guardian colleagues and planted next to his name with the intention of creating a barrage of condemnation. 2/
And what's even worse is that your Guardian colleagues are now openly bragging about the barrage of criticism the rage sharing of this deceptive headline triggered.

You people aren't reporting the news, you're gleefully manufacturing it.

1) This thread showcases articles from professional writers who have investigated #Qanon and have found, through their own research, that the Q phenomenon is worth looking into.
2) There is no shortage of articles about #Qanon from writers who have been assigned to write about the Q movement. A cursory glance at their work shows that these writers have never actually researched Q's posts for themselves.
3) Fortunately, there is a growing body of work from writers who have investigated the claims of #Qanon for themselves.

I’m not sure if this is the granularity you are expecting. Some of these concepts are bigger than others. I invented exactly none of them. The list is not exhaustive. It’s a twitter thread not a manifesto. At 280 characters per idea, things get lost in translation.
My ideas cannot help but bleed into my ideals. I tried to keep them separate but I didn’t try very hard. Sorry if some of this seems remedial. There are some things that can only be transmitted in stories, never in plain speech. I have omitted those.
The map is not the territory. Your mental model of the world is just a representation of the world. In order to fit the big world in your little head, many things are omitted or distorted. you will never see the real world, only your map
