1. Here are the current number of Stored Communication Act warrants for 2019 in DC. 344 up to today. I pulled the screen print from the Criminal database. The report can also be pulled in the Civil data base screens. They are tracking for 2,460 in 2019. In 2018 they had 3,580.
2. The above report was from the DC criminal report screen. SC is Stored Communication Act. It also can be run as a report in the Civil database report screens. Here is the contemporaneous report for one week. Number 344 matches the above report from the Criminal database screen.
3. Here is the final number for 2018. 3,580 Stored Communications Act warrants in DC in one year. The use these warrants to go after things like child pornography and traitors. Anyone who thinks this is over is kidding themselves. But nice try @CNN.
