If a liberal group took a camera to meeting with a Republican about climate change I'd cheer them on. But attacking a Democrat with a GOOD RECORD on climate change with an edited video smells a lot like ratfucking to me.
When a monster like Trump is in power, enabled by a thoroughly corrupt GOP, it's just flat out stupid to attack our own people. The priority has to be defeating this gang of villains, not enforcing ideological purity and sabotaging ourselves.
Do I really need to point out that enforcing ideological purity is exactly what got the Republican Party into their thoroughly corrupt state? This is not the way to make progress.
And if you don't believe Feinstein has an excellent record on climate change and environmental issues, please note: you're attacking someone who got a 100% score in 2017 from the League of Conservation Voters and a 90% lifetime score: scorecard.lcv.org/moc/dianne-fei…
FInal note for now: I personally love that there's a Green New Deal being talked about, after years of frustrating, maddening inaction and regressive GOP obstructionism.
So before you assume I'm criticizing this hit job because I'm opposed to the GND, that's where I stand.
