Now this is a story all about how
Trade law got twisted upside down
And I'd like to rant at nauseaum while you're trapped sitting there
I'll tell you how I became the prince of an IGO in Suisse.
In West Lake Geneva, born and raised
In the @WTO DGs Office is where I spent most of my days
Chillin beef maxin tariffs relaxing all cool
and misinterpreting conventions like a damn fool
When @Trade_EU, they were up to no good
Started applying trade law in my neighbourhood
I raised one little tariff and the Members got scared
and said you're going with your schedule and quotas to DSB
I begged and pleaded and took @WTODGAZEVEDO's out of context
But they filed disputes and sent me on my way
Gave me the GATT and said I'd better read it
I put my blinders on and said, Art XXIV I totally dig it.

1/ Joining the (CP)TPP, how would that work?

The CPTPP is the Taylor Swift of trade agreements. Just being photographed next to it really ups your street cred.

Yet, as Tom Hiddleston found out, it's worth finding out what's actually involved before getting too involved.
2/ In trade lingo, joining something which already exists is referred to as an 'accession'.

The CPTPP describes the procedure for accession in Article 4 of its 30th Chapter. You can read that here:

3/ Who is eligible?

The CPTPP automatically opens the door to accession to any member of APEC, and will upon unanimous approval by existing CPTPP Parties also consider any other state or customs territory.

1/ "Taking No-Deal off the table will leave the EU no incentive to give the UK a better deal."

There are MP's making this argument, so it's worth taking seriously.

The stated red lines are clear: UK wants a limit/exit to the backstop, EU is refusing one.

2/ The argument is the threat of a chaotic No-Deal Brexit will push the EU to change its red line.

This is theoretically possible, but as a negotiator, you might want to ask yourself some questions to test if it's likely.
3/ Question 1:
"Have the stakeholders behind the red line indicated any flexibility?"

The stakeholders here are the Irish, but also EU leaders and their commitment to the integrity of the Single Market.

This all started because the #MetPolice & #LBRUT couldn't do their day jobs properly & decided to take the law into their own hands. It started as a small cover up 12 years ago but has turned into British State Persecution.

My company was raided. It should have been a straightforward matter. But the #MetPolice & #LBRUT forgot to seize my computer & came back to do a 2nd raid. The search warrant didn't permit a second entry, however, #LBRUT entered unlawfully

Complaints were then made to my MP #VinceCable. He liaised with the #Metpolice & #LBRUT. And then weeks later, the search warrant was completely changed & was passed off as the search warrant executed on the day of the raids.

PWDV Act, 2005, gives a broad definition of what qualifies as ‘domestic abuse’. It includes physical, sexual, verbal, emotional and economic abuse. Section 3 reads:
The Act provides for a ‘Protection Officer’ to help you through various processes under the law. This Officer can help you file the complaint, tell you about your rights, make an application to the Magistrate for you, etc.
