So Cohen is basically relitigating all the things Never Trump conservatives pointed out 3 years ago.
Trump is not going to be impeached for being a liar during the 2016 campaign. The entire country knew who he was. The Democrats chose to run the most unlikeable politician in 75 years. So here we are.
If Cohen would have stuck to the evidence and not made it personal, this would have some credibility. This just looks like a guy angry Trump is hanging him out to dry.
And the optics of a career Hillary guy behind him are not good.

Buzzfeed & @BuzzFeedBen will publish an unverified opposition dossier (that might be true!) But won’t publish documents a reporter on a story that could indict & impeach a President says he saw but no one at Buzzfeed will comment on,

Well, here's another one, by Buzzfeed, no less. They KNEW that Trump worked WITH the FBI, yet they participated in the conspiracy against him to frame him as the guilty one.

I’m grateful to everyone who participated in this thread and to @martintisne for prompting the discussion. It’s the type of conversation I wish we’d have more often at the ten or so open data conferences we seem to have every year.
