A subtle revelation in Lisa Page's testimony -- in explaining why FBI didn't provide Trump campaign a defensive briefing, she says they'd have to have specific evidence that someone was a foreign agent...Except, that's precisely what FBI asserted about @carterwpage for the FISA.
The FBI already had a bunch of information on Carter Page that was used to beef up the FISA. The only new info we know of that came into the FBI between when they were discussing defensive briefing (August 2016) and the FISA approval (Oct 2016) is from the Steele dossier.
To say it a different way -- Lisa Page is saying FBI didn't provide defensive briefing to Trump camp because FBI didn't know if Trump aides were Russian agents. Except that's what FBI alleged Carter Page was.

This is so embarrassing for CNN. The docs they're referring to provide zero evidence to support the dossier's claim that Gubarev was recruited by FSB and was "significant" player in DNC hacking. cnn.com/2019/03/15/pol…
And then there's this little nugget. CNN likes Michael Cohen and Lanny Davis when they're saying stuff against Trump but not when they're insisting that the dossier's Prague claim is fake.
lol, of course. The guy BuzzFeed paid $4 million to try to prove part of the dossier is also a CNN contributor.

ABC's links to the dossier are most interesting of all. Glenn Simpson tipped off Brian Ross to alleged dossier source Sergei Millian. Ross interviewed Millian (who nobody had ever heard of at that time) on camera on July 29, 2016. dailycaller.com/2018/09/07/ser…

READ: David Kramer dossier deposition

Kramer had contact with a dozen reporters. We knew he was BuzzFeed's source. He was also Carl Bernstein's source. Gave dossier to other journos, as well as Rep. Adam Kinzinger.

Kramer said that Chris Steele told him to meet with Bernstein and BuzzFeed's Ken Bensinger.
He also said that he believes Steele and Glenn Simpson chose him and John McCain as conduits b/c it would look politically motivated if a Democrat gave dossier to Jim Comey.
Kramer also said he gave the dossier to one of the McClatchy boys -- Peter Stone.

1) If the IC community under Obama "drastically diverged from normal procedures in their Trump campaign investigation" as @LindseyGrahamSC states then an investigation of the investigators is warranted.
2) I've stated before that an investigation into criminal behavior by the Obama IC community would be difficult because they'd have a strong defense IF they were following normal procedures & policies.
