Watching this has made me think- despite the horrific acts of today- the deparvity of these monsters Inshaa Allah has granted the dead the status of martyrs.
There is some irony in this attack.

I have gone from extreme sadness to extreme anger today. There is a sense of numbness now. The reason being that the cards were on the table, from the constant Islam bashing, the linking of anything bad to Islam & Muslims, the media frenzy to demonise Muslims & humanise

Politicians such as Boris Johnson has mocked Muslims & never been reprimanded. Supposed writers have demolished Muslims but always safeguarded their positions by saying criticism idealogy isn’t racism

Haras Rafiq has written a completely inaccurate report on “Muslim grooming” gangs & made CSE Muslim, Pakistani issue, knowing full well that most sexual crimes are not committed by Muslims or Pakistanis.

Maajid Nawaz has made his money on the concept of reforming Islam/ again calling Islam & so by default Muslims the problem. Media outlets are just a disgrace. From the Times articles on false foster care by Muslims to the sun and daily mails continuous Muslim bashing

To Sajid Javid’s bullish tactics to revoke citizenship. It’s always been on the table and everyone of those named and more (HJS, Richard Spencer, Anning, Trump, Farage etc etc) have all played a part in giving rise to Islamophobia and allowed the terror against Muslims to happen

To lady isn’t the fits but it’s the largest. From Chapel Hill killings, to the Finsbury Park killing, to the Quebec mosque killing. This isn’t new but it’s getting more brutal, more organised more more more

Stop giving any kind of platform to hate preachers like Katie and Robinson. U have to balance freedom of speech with the right to freedom of religion and life. Stop the hate preachers movement, stop their publications it’s not silencing critique, it’s silencing hate.

The writing has most definitely been on the wall and we have decided we can’t read. So yes amongst the sadness I have been bitterly angry when the same individuals that have paved the way for such monster now come out with their faux sympathy. If u mean it- then act.
