As the national Fire Festival ( 20 March) nears for #Iran, senior police & judiciary officials are increasing their oppressive threats in a desperate attempt to prevent the Iranian people from turning these festivities into anti-regime protests.

The #Iranian regime executed a prisoner in Zahedan Central Prison, S Iran. He was married and a father of two children. Some sources have mentioned that he was a former member of Iran's national kickboxing team.
These executions are carried out after Ebrahim Raisi, one of the men in charge of the mass executions in 1988 massacre, was recently appointed as the head of Iran's judiciary by the regime's supreme leader Ali Khamenei

A U.S. citizen held in #Iran had been sentenced for an unspecified crime.

 It's interesting how this read criticizes Trump's hard line against #Iran's regime & argues such US policy failed once before back in 1953 after a CIA-sponsored coup brought an end to Iran's sole democratic government under Mossadegh.

 The read goes to say the coup led to the return of the Shah & his authoritarian rule, the people becoming angry and 25 years later today's theocratic mullahs taking over 1979.
And the mullahs' enmity against America is obvious.
