1. I was troubled by this morning’s reporting that 50 percent of those polled now believe the Mueller investigation is a witch hunt. Of course, this plainly is a product of Trump’s maniacal “witch-hunt” mantra. The dozens of criminal charges and guilty pleas prove otherwise...
2. I think most of us have been impressed w/the complete absence of leaks from the Mueller team. Such discipline is admirable and serves as a model that should be emulated by all criminal investigations & agencies. I am also a proponent of giving Mueller all the time he needs...
3. To fully investigate all wrongdoing/wrongdoers. HOWEVER, I fear that, w/the daily, if not hourly, one-sided, false narrative being spewed into the public square by Trump and his acolytes, the people are being duped beyond redemption.
4. People may become so cemented in their “witch-hunt” beliefs, that no Mueller report or indictment will be able to undo the conclusions already reached, uninformed conclusions though they may be. In short, my fear is that . . .
5. The longer we go without a Mueller rebuttal of the “witch-hunt” claim, the more likely we are to experience significant civil unrest when Mueller finally issues his final reports and indictments. We need information before it’s too late for that information to win the day.
