John Minford, #SunTzu 4:8 & 9 "8 - Thus they achieve protection 9 - and victory intact."

Today's focus is on verse 9. The pronoun "they" refers Skillful Warriors of old as described in verses 4:1-7.

And victory intact. Do you think about victory? It's a serious question. In my day job as a coach, I find that most people don't. Most think about the thing in front of them, and not getting in trouble. If they focus on winning or losing, losing tends to dominate.

But the real truth is that neither winning nor losing, victory nor defeat are the common driver. Our ambitions have been lowered. Consider POTUS situation where it is Americans in power who thwart him at every step. They will do anything to prevent him from...winning.

After Mitt Romney lost the 2012 election, I was quite despondent. The very moment the Benghazi tragedy occurred, I knew that HRC and Obama had perpetrated it. I had no hesitation or doubt. I've been heart broken over my country many times. None worse than that.

Do you remember that candidate Romney came out against them for this, also the moment it occurred, was scolded by the MSM for so doing, and accepted his scolding, speaking about it no more? I should have know right then that he was toast. But, I remained in denial.

So, obviously, I should NOT have been surprised, let alone shocked when Romney collapsed under the assault of Candy Crowley and Obama in the 2nd debate. Hell, I should have forecast it. Instead, I'm still not over my stunned amazement and heartbroken sadness from that moment.

America was long broken before that moment. Otherwise, that moment could never have occurred. Obama won a 2nd term. HRC went on to become the Democrat candidate for 2016. And Mitt Romney is a Senator today. Benghazi. Evidently it doesn't matter.

And victory intact.

Hmm. When, and how did America give up on that simple idea? Mind, NOT America Herself. Maybe the question is how did we Americans give up on it?

How do we continue to reward losers, those who destroy our victories, those who prevent victory intact?

I feel Master Sun's hand on my shoulder. He weeps with me.

Do you know the movie The Last Samurai, with Tom Cruise and Ken Watanabe? It's one of my all-time favorite movies. I have only seen it once. I wept like a baby, uncontrollably. I know, if I watch again, I'll weep again.

Okay, I'll mount up my courage, grab my Kleenex, and watch it again soon, but no promises as to when. But I will. I'll force Master Sun to join me, and we will weep together. And we will remember the Benghazi Four, as well.

And victory intact. Except for when we chose defeat.

Don't be so sad, Master Sun gently tells me. There is such a thing as victory intact, and we can ensure it occurs again. When we do, we will honor those so shamefully, so unnecessarily fallen. We will not forget. We will fight in their names too, for their honor and sacrifice.

Another Master has told us that life is for the living. It is on us to hear, to listen, to ponder, to plan, to choose, to determine what the intact victory is that we fight for, and to ensure that we win. Do you know the way to the temple, where we do our planning and deciding?

Yet, I say back, please Master, let me weep. HRC and Obama executed those brave men and foisted it off upon a nation that could not believe its eyes and ears. They remain unaccountable for this evil atrocity to this moment.

No, he says, stop your weeping, now.

Shocked, I see a tear drop down his cheek.

Confessing his agony, he tells me, still there is victory intact to be fought for and won. What's more, the very idea of victory intact must be fought for and won again. Despair is not an option.

Eyes wiped, noses blown, deep breaths sucked in, sadness begins to convert to cold anger, suppressed rage, and slowly forges into iron resolve.

And victory intact.

The warriors of old first achieved protection, safety, invulnerable defense. Then, they achieved victory intact. With ultimate excellence, they won without setting foot upon field of combat, and took entire states intact. This is our mission today. We must take America intact.

To do so, we must reclaim the very idea of victory, victory intact, itself.

Yes, @realDonaldTrump shows cold anger, often. Yet, he never accepts anything other than victory intact. He is our leader. We must follow him. To the point of...
