To explain:

I was sitting drinking at a bar with @newamerpolitics for about an hour

Right as we get up to leave the woman sitting next to us gets up too, asks if I’m Will

I say yes, she introduces herself as @peltzmadeline

Brief chitchat ensues

At the end she says something along the lines of “you should be careful what you say, we’re watching you.”

I.e. Media matters is watching me.

A threat? Merely a menacing comment? Unclear

Weird interaction though

But in all seriousness @peltzmadeline I’m happy to get some coffee with you at La Colombe

Fabulous oat milk lattes if you haven’t tried one

My friends tell me her associate was filming the interaction

Anyway it was super creepy but I’m sitting down to dinner

Lmk if you want to join us @peltzmadeline there’s an empty seat and the food looks good

But please restrain yourself from doing this next time

UPDATE: still haven’t heard from @peltzmadeline about La Colombe

Offer is still on the table, but it will have to wait until I’m back from West Palm Beach
