@IanDunt to the point as ever.

“Slipperiest motherfuckers on the face of the planet.”

Oliver Letwin’s motion passes. Parliament IS beginning to get power back to the house.

About sodding time.
So Wednesdays (rather than Grieve’s Tuesdays motion) will be handed over to Parl to control the agenda.

Now it is Beckett’s motion to determine that the Gov WILL seek a further extension from the Eu to avoid no deal.

At least the house is showing muscle VERY late in the day
So the government has to allow a vote on extension IF the U.K. is 1 week away from NO DEAL.

Not great but a lot better than where we were.

Maybe. Just maybe Parliament is getting its Mojo back
It is way past time that both the Gov and my MP @AlexChalkChelt were served their sorry arses on a plate.

Yes. Yes I DO expect heartfelt apologies for the purgatory and harm they have put us through

This sorry shower have forgotten their purpose.

Their ethics.

Honesty.
Who were the dumb MPs that didn’t want to control the timetable for extension on No Deal?

We need the names

What possible objection can an intelligent MP have to control this critical issue?

Or any decent Government at this juncture?

What a pathetic shower.
We pay them
That said. The Letwin motion is the critical one. If they hold steady on that then Parliament is FINALLY doing its job.

Now we are seeing what happens when Oliver Letwin’s motion amends the main motion. Division now.
Picked this up a bit late.

Will my MP show a tenth of the character?

No. He is seeking a much safer Tory seat having shafted his strong remain Cheltenham constituents pretty consistently since the Ref.on Brexit.

Votes with the Gov to try and get it

Yeah! The Letwin motion amending the main motion has ALSO passed quite comfortably

What a spiteful little man is David Davies (Monmouth) having a poke at Oliver Letwin (West Dorset) with whom I might well disagree from time to time, but is always courteous.
There will now be indicative votes on Wednesday.

A wise Government would have signed and promoted this motion (for indicative votes) but it didn’t.

It is not a wise Government.

It is small. Stupid. It still does grasp that eleven if they get the WA through it would be a lose
I am listening to jeers and cheers at our expense in the House.

They have not the slightest idea of the contempt with which we hold these really odious public schoolboy exchanges.

Or the anger.

They don’t know how to behave decently.
All this pompous willy waving about “courtesy” in a House of Commons astonishingly without any of the normal courtesies of daily life.

Vince Cable (courteously) reminds the House that there is a change in the constitutional order.

About time given this abusive, incompetent Govt
