Any reporter that doesn't mention that Hamas' strategy is to have civilians ON ITS OWN SIDE killed, and consequently that Israel does not want to kill a single Gaza civilian, is not worthy of the name "reporter."
No other conflict is like this one. One side wants civilians on both sides to die and the other wants no civilians on either side to die.

Reporting on this as if it is a normal war, without understanding the basic goals of each side, is irresponsible.
Hamas puts its military targets in the middle of residential neighborhoods. It builds bunkers for jihadists but no shelters for civilians. It shoots rockets that often land in Gaza on people's homes. It intimidates reporters who mention this. But it clearly wants dead Gazans.
Also, Hamas doesn't try to defend a single person. They just shoot rockets towards Jewish communities.

Shooting a rocket is cheap. Defending against rocket attacks is expensive.

Targeting civilians is easy. Targeting jihadists hiding among civilians is hard.
To pretend that this is a normal conflict is irresponsible. It is a cognitive war. And too many journalists allow themselves to be used as weapons in this cognitive war.

Every report comparing the dead on both sides as if it's a game is a victory for Islamic terrorists.
