The Tories have lost any chance of getting their withdrawal agreement through parliament. They left it too late.

It won't come back to parliament anyway, but even if it did it would never get through.

Bercow ruled it out last week. He's not going to suddenly rule it in again just because a couple of TV toffs have changed their mind.

There's so much arrogant stupidity involved. Rees-Mogg and Johnson may have the English media halfway up their arse, but parliament doesn't work like that.
The Speaker has given a ruling and that's that.

So it won't come back, but even if it did would make no difference. Because parliament is going to show its own mind tomorrow in a series of votes that have nothing to do with the government.

Tomorrow night parliament will have discovered a majority of its own. They are not going to discard their own majority to pick up someone else's proposal that they've already rejected twice.

English news is a very depressing and dismal industry. It's far too sensationalist, far too excitable, and time and again they keep disregarding fact.

Oh, and also, English journalists have the memory of a goldfish, and by this time tomorrow they will have forgotten and contradicted everything they told you today.
