Every passing day makes clear the full Mueller Report is inconsistent w Barr’s gloss, and most surely optically damning.

Barr made the legal determination bc he was afraid Congress would come to a different political determination.

Part of the mystery is Barr makes clear the question of obstruction involved incidents not yet made public. I’ll take a stab at possibilities:

1) Don McGahn met w/SC numerous times. He likely shared additional orders to obstruct but trump never stated a clear enough intent.

2) Did Pence meet w/Mueller? Unlikely he’d veer from trump’s position. Which means he never even answered written questions about obstruction.

3) Did Stephen Miller? Probably. He had conversations w Trump when he drafted the letter(s) firing Comey.

Mueller punting on Obstruction is nothing more than it’s damn hard to prove what’s on someone’s mind no matter how obvious their actions are.

There could be dozens of additional obvious incidents. Didn’t help legally but the sheer volume would be politically devastating.
