It’s not just that NeverTrump collusion peddlers are uninformed or ignorant or reflexive or condescending or insulting that bothers me the most.

It’s that they’re lazy. This is the biggest corruption scandal in US political history and they haven’t even broken a sweat.
What original research did anyone at Weekly Standard or French/Goldberg at NRO dig up? What insightful commentary did they offer? How much time did they spend reading transcripts or watching congressional hearings? Zero. Lazy, entitled and smug. Can’t find a worse combo.
Meanwhile, they insulted and argued with people who actually were doing the hard work. That’s why they deserve our unrelenting criticism.

There’s much to deconstruct here, especially French’s comment about General Flynn but this is more evidence that David French is a fundamentally dishonest person. What’s even more galling is how he dresses it up in self-righteousness.
For instance, he cherry-picks one quote from his article about the dossier but this is literally the next paragraph:
French suddenly claims it’s necessary to investigate FISA abuse after he repeatedly criticized Devin Nunes memo laying out all the FISA abuse, calling it a “nothingburger.”

1. As most of you know, my threads are generally positive in nature because that’s my general worldview when it comes to the US and the future.
2. Like most of you, I want absolutely the best for the country & its citizens, especially my progeny. For years, I was naïve enough to think that everyone else thought like I did in that regard. I also thought that America was different that the corruptocracies around the world.
3. It’s taken a long time for me to conclude that the evils of human nature are as resident here in the US as they are everywhere else in the world, & that the US political class is just about as bad as any other country’s in terms of graft, corruption, careerism, nepotism, etc.

I didn’t vote for Trump. To my everlasting shame, I voted for the twerp @Evan_McMullin . That’s a decision I’ve regretted ever since reading his tweets and learning more about his politics.
