Imagine if Mueller had waited until the end of the process to indict Trump's former lawyer, campaign manager, National Security Advisor, which he did earlier... it would have been carnage.

Not to mention the fact that Mueller has explicitly not made any decision on obstruction of justice which he says is a decision for Congress - he will set out the evidence in his report, which he has explicitly said does not exonerate Trump.
It's a measure of how low everyone's expectations of Trump now are, and how people have accepted that major players in his former team have pleaded guilty or been convicted of serious offences, that any of this can be seen as a victory for him.
It's like, well done! The sitting President isn't personally being indicted for conspiracy with the Russian Government, though he may well have obstructed an investigation into his own behaviour in a way which for another public authority would be a chargeable offence.
