Seems like May’s hope is WA approved by HoC before EUCO & short extension. That would make sense.

Finally, as reported weeks ago (buzzfeed.com/albertonardell…), views vary among EU27 leaders on how high the bar to a long extension should be (beyond UK taking part in EP election, which all agree on). So without an approved WA, the reason for any long extension request will matter
