so i won some lots at the art institute of seattle liquidation auction and the experience was not really what i expected
i have a lot of bitter feelings about "ebay vultures", my highly pejorative term for the people i've seen clearing out every single item at goodwill that might score more than $25 on ebay
i think i've posted about this before. while thrift stores and yard sales are not a replacement for a functioning economy, there was a time when they were at least an option for getting things you "can't afford"

i'm addressing a few different people here, and idk why I didn't say this sooner, but here it is: stop telling me "oh LGR did a video on that." I not only don't care, it makes me feel like dogshit.
I don't like his style, so I don't follow his channel. I have nothing against the guy personally but he doesn't interest me. But apparently he owns every single thing that has transistors in it, in all of history, fucking forever, and has sniped me on every single topic.
I literally can't post a video to my channel, or mention any device I find, ever, without at least two people telling me "oh LGR did a video on that." thanks. now i'm going to throw it away because you aren't going to watch my video on it.

If you've been following me for a while you'll already know that this story hits me on a very personal level.
When the daughter, knowing no DNR had been consented to, found her father in distress & asked hospital staff to intervene they said no & it was: "for his own good."
The language of "for his own good" is familiar & telling.
They believe they know better AND prob hold negative opinions about value of older people.
Our dominant culture is not one that can in any way claim to value/respect its elders - tho many cultures within our society do.
All the discrimination and prejudice and bias that exists within our larger society gets carried over into healthcare.
This means that the people who face particular risks & who are devalued generally, face additional risks in a setting where everyone there is already vulnerable

Those who think this is no big deal & point to the many times prior presidents declared states of emergency aren't getting it. Trump is NOT a normal president. That declaration expands his powers dramatically & allows him to do things that would be illegal now.
Read the article - under a state of emergency, he could shut down Internet, freeze our bank accounts, take over websites, collect our communications. He could turn America into a dictatorship overnight. Don't say GOP won't let him do it. They will. They're part of this treason.

The Evidence Obtained Outside Cameras will not show any evidence of ‘tempering’ but other than license plates of dozens of diplomatic cars (Many with tinted windows-large trunks) with related time stamp, drivers Info, model/year: Nothing.
#Turkish Intel-Investigative Bodies also have the list of all Diplomatic & Private Saudi & “other significant’ Planes in #Turkey for the period of ‘interest.’ Many of the Target airports have their own security cameras & related evidence.
