Is there no point at which you just draw the line and say "This is not a qualified person?" Or are we now in the trenches so deep that we'll parse out some dumb thing said by a guy who shouldn't be a nominee, because tribal loyalty demands it? /3x

I appreciate that @AG_Conservative is the new media watchdog and stuff, but I'd encourage people to watch this clip. When you go to the wall for Pete Hegseth, you've made some interesting life decisions. /1
@AG_Conservative Hegseth's point that vets should have options outside the VA? Sure, all on board.
But watch where Hegseth basically says that vets who *use* the system for stuff *allowed* by the VA shouldn't use it, because, you know, he personally wouldn't. /2
@AG_Conservative Now think about what he's saying: That you can claim things under VA rules but you probably should be a patriot instead of a snowflake and not complain about every little ache and pain. You wouldn't want to be dependent on the VA and stuff. /3

I’m pretty surprised, given two years of evidence of exactly this, but if this is Mueller’s conclusion, I have to accept it. What I’d like to know is if this is a “didn’t” or “can’t prove it” situation, but if this is accurate, it confirms Trump’s denials. /1
Questions I have for the Mueller version:
- Couldn’t establish connection to Russian *government* is doing important work here
- “underlying crime?”
- does not exonerate? Why that phrasing?

I’m not a lawyer, so I don’t know how much of this is lawyer-ese. But as a counterintelligence matter, I can’t figure how the president’s campaign chairman being jungled up with the Russians isn’t “knowing.” Unless were back to a “can’t prove it legally“ situation. /3

I am not sure how this grift works, since whichever one of them would have to admit to lying is never going to have a moment of public credibility again. I'm not saying it's impossible, I'm saying I don't see the angle and all other explanations are too complicated. /2
If Kellyanne is the one who says later: "George really represented what I was thinking," then she's saying everything she's done for years in the White House is a lie. That's not a strategy that makes sense to me for a future book tour, but okay, I guess it could happen. /3

When I wrote the article last time Dimir Delver was everywhere. It was showing up a lot prior to Ultimate Masters but that set brought with it the downshift of Foil and caused an alarming increase in its results. Since the last B&R update, we're still seeing plenty of Dimir. 2/
On the flipside, Boros Monarch and Bully, combined as just "Boros" due to their similar builds, colors, and playstyles, also took up a large format metashare. Combined, they're still the largest metashare deck according to MTG Goldfish by far. This has been the least changed. 3/

2. It's no accident that in school we're taught that the form of govt in the US is a democracy. Our MARXIST textbooks, politicians & #FakeNews say the same thing.

How many times do we hear politicians say that a certain act, idea, or bill is a potential threat to our democracy?
3. Problem is, nothing could be further from the truth. Our country is not a democracy, IT IS A REPUBLIC.

Our founders saw that democracy was another form of tyranny. As such, they intended, and laid out the ground rules, for our great nation to be a republic.

2. She won by over 2.5 million votes (correct them, 2.8 actually. Gift it to them, show our sensible sane demeanor. We don't argue facts)

1) Having trouble with a FreeRepublic link to a comment on an article about the 17th Amendment by "fieldmarshaldj," a friend who has some real insight. So I will repost; These are HIS ideas, but consider them.
*Given that each states goal now is to get as much money as possible from our treasury, any state that would elect a Senator on a fiscally responsible platform would never BE elected in the first place, because they would be viewed as allowing taxpayer $$ to go to other states.
*State legislatures aren’t known for electing strident NON-leftists to office where empowered, & would in almost every instance elect milquetoast RINOs (or worse) that would be even further to the left of present Senators today [such as] Murkowskis, McQueegs, Collinses & Flakes
