Here's the latest status report (filed Friday) in the Ms. L family separations class action: scribd.com/document/40635… Since the last report in late March, 10 more kids were released from US custody — three were reunited with a parent and seven went to sponsors
Here are the latest stats on the number of separated parents and kids who have been reunified so far, and the number of separated kids released to sponsors
The ACLU is pushing back against the government's assertion that it'll take up to two years to figure out which of the 47K kids referred to US custody and discharged between 7/1/17 and 6/25/18 were separated from a parent and should be covered by this litigation

Statement from AG Bill Barr on Rosenstein's resignation: "Rod has been an invaluable partner to me during my return to the Department, and I have relied heavily on his leadership and judgment over the past several months."
Rosenstein's successor, Jeffrey Rosen, hasn't been confirmed by the Senate. He had a hearing on April 10 and the committee hasn't voted yet on his nomination.

Hello on this gray morning from the federal courthouse, where Maria Butina, who pleaded guilty to conspiring to act as an unregistered agent for Russia, will be sentenced. She's asking for time-served and immediate deportation back to Russia. Prosecutors are asking for 18 months
