4 out of the 28 European countries do not have any restrictions on foreign donations to political parties. They are Belgium, Denmark, Italy and the Netherlands. 11 other countries have partial restrictions only 13 have full bans in place.

But it would be a mistake to think the fight is solely between Russia and the USA. The big rival is China and it's interesting how this giant adversary has some kind of stealth coating which reflects less than Russian collusion.
While Russia can only aspire to penetrate the network China aims to actually be the network, to dominate the physical layer and technologies like artificial intelligence, which makes it potentially far more dangerous than the Kremlin.

Unlike Russia, China has an internal strategy unmatched perhaps even by the United States. Beijing has a plan to become the dominant economy and technology powerhouse on the planet.

There are indications that a new generation of American counter-tactics have emerged. It is marked by the use of sanctions, proxy warfare and undermining or attracting Putin's most vulnerable clients in North Korea, Syria, Venezuela and Cuba.
The obvious weakness of Dugin's strategy is its complete reliance on external offensive operations. There is no internal reform program aimed at improving Russia's efficiency and economic dynamism.

Never forget: This 'nationalist' government has allowed foreign funding to political parties AND allowed donations to be anonymous through electoral bonds.
Have made it a habit to remind all my OTT BJP supporting friends and family about this. Every chance I get.

Please do the same. We've been collectively betrayed.
Even the outgoing Election Commission Chief has expressed his concerns about the shadiness that Electoral Bonds have enabled.

This can prove to be a bigger and nastier scam than Rafale, that too spread across all parties!

Everyone should have collectively lost their minds but, after a short burst of outrage, we swallowed it up whole as if it's normal.
