Yes, the Mueller letter is whiny. It is not the job of the AG to summarize Mueller's feelings about Trump being a Very Bad Man. It is the job of the AG to summarize the CRIMINAL CHARGES.
And spare me the hysterics about how I'm supposedly anti-Mueller. I defended Mueller for years, and continue to defend his actual report. I said on national television that if Trump fired Mueller, impeachment ought to be on the table. The letter is silly. The report is PUBLIC.

So Barr's letter was an accurate summary of the Mueller report's conclusions. We don't have to take Mueller's word for it, or the Washington Post's report on Mueller's feelings. THE REPORT IS PUBLIC.
Mueller is pissed because the summary didn't include the generalized mood of his report. Well, tough. It's not the job of the AG to include Mueller's mood. It is his job to announce conclusions of law. Which is what he did.
If Mueller wanted to pursue obstruction, he could have done so. He didn't. Instead, he abdicated, but apparently hoped to push all the damaging material about Trump into the public sphere in the most damaging possible way. Barr demurred.
