1. Today's example of how @FoxNews deceives its viewers into a fantasy world. Hillary Clinton appears on Rachel Maddow. In discussing the impropriety of Trump calling on Russia to hack her emails, she says a "can you imagine how GOP would react if dems said..." hypothetical...
@FoxNews 2...she then mimics Trump's call for Russia to hack her by - almost word for word - saying the same thing about dems calling for China to hack for Trump's taxes. Then, she said, China starts hacking IRS, but it is deemed not collusion because it was done publicly.....
@FoxNews 3...she ends this hypothetical by saying "Just saying that shows how absurd the situation we find ourselves in is." So, no doubt, she was using a hypothetical, switching parties and nations, to show the reality of the obscenity of Trump's call for Russian hacking .....
@FoxNews 4...you know what's coming. On Fox, the entire nature of this being a hypothetical is edited out, leaving Hillary - on video! - calling for China to hack for Trump's taxes. Today, Fox viewers KNOW this happened - after all, they saw Clinton doing it! - with no idea that they....
@FoxNews 5...have been deceived into a fantasy land with not-even-so-clever editing. It's the same as when they edited Obama so that Fox viewers saw him saying, in 2012, something along the lines of "we can't win if we run on the economy" without revealing he was quoting McCain in 2008...
@FoxNews 6...but how do you convince Fox viewers, who receive an hour after hour endless loop of "democrats are evil" montage when they actually see video that seems to back it up? Fox tells them consult no other news media, then shows edited videos that lie about what really happened....
@FoxNews 7...this is why Fox is not journalism. This is why this, "It's an opinion show" garbage must lead every Fox reporter who isn't a propagandist to leave. Standing up for journalism matters. I left Newsweek when they fired top editors for investigating crimes at Newsweek. Anyone...
@FoxNews 8...at Fox who is legitimate must leave. "opinion" does not mean "I get to make up facts." Opinion is based on reality, not composed fantasy portrayed as reality. Fox "opinion" shows would be fine if they were opinion. But they are propaganda with manipulated reality. And....
@FoxNews 9...since they see it with their own eyes, Fox viewers have no way to know. Journalism is an essential part of democracy. @FoxNews poses a clear and present danger to the United States.
