So here's one of CNN's go-to collusion conspiracy theorists suggesting that the Trump Tower meeting had something to do with an offer of hacked Clinton emails (it didn't). time.com/5581311/muelle…
This is almost as good as the time Rangappa suggested that the FBI surveilled the Trump campaign for its own good.
But on the Trump Tower offer -- Trump Jr. was contacted with an offer from Russians who wanted to provide dirt on Hillary's dealings in Russia. That was the explicit offer, not emails or anything else.

The Mueller report's discussion of the GOP platform issue has no mention of Carter Page. Page also denies working on it. So question is which congressional sources told this to Steele
To clarify — Trump campaign did not change the platform, which is what a lot of Democrats and journalists claim. They tabled a proposed amendment. In any case, Page does not appear to have been involved.

Steele told State Dept official that congressional sources "confirmed" that Carter Page was involved in GOP platform change on Ukraine. But there's no evidence Page was involved, and he denies it. Page says he's surprised Steele might have Cong contacts dailycaller.com/2019/05/10/chr…
These are from State Department notes obtained by Citizens United and first reported by @jsolomonReports
Steele shared other dubious claims with State official Kathleen Kavalec, such as that Russia was running ops out of its Miami consulate (which doesn't exist) and that Russia had a mole in DNC.

@DailyCaller Strzok sent an email on April 13, 2107 to FBI colleagues after publication of an article in The Guardian. He said he thought CIA had more intel than they had given FBI, and were probably behind inaccurate media leaks.
This is laid out in a letter from Chuck Grassley/Ron Johnson to the Intel Community IG, asking whether he's investigating CIA leaks.

We had known since the Papadopoulos plea last October that the Trump campaign were told in April 2016 that “the Russians had emails of Clinton,” and “they have thousands of emails.” 2/
While the information revealed in the plea does not directly say that Papadopoulos told top officials in the Trump campaign, it made clear he was in frequent contact w them re his Russian contacts & it is inconceivable to believe he just didn’t tell them this bombshell. 3/
