Translation: WHAT did they know & WHEN did they know it? WHO did they choose to inform & WHY did they choose some airlines to inform & not others?

wsj.com/articles/boein…
"Boeing didn’t share info about a problem w/cockpit safety alert for about a year BEFORE the issue drew attention with the Oct crash of a 737 MAX jet in Indonesia & then gave SOME airlines & pilots PARTIAL & INCONSISTENT explanations according to industry & government officials."
"Questioning continues in the FEDERAL CRIMINAL investigation into the suspect MCAS system, and HOW the jetliner was certified."
"As recently as last week, two prosecutors & federal special agents from the FBI & DOT inspector general’s office interviewed a former Boeing employee & asked broad questions about the manner in which the suspect flight-control system was developed."
⬆️ is a clear message from this former Boeing employee's lawyer that s/he is TALKING to the FEDS. The level of detail (e.g., # of prosecutors/agents, specific agencies they are from) & that its only ONE former employee that was interviewed was deemed important enough to report.
