Lib Dems/Greens "v pissed off" by this tweet, one source tells me. They confirm, however, that talks are ongoing about a joint candidate. That is v interesting . Source says though that ChangeUK jumping the gun and talking to journalists endangers trust between the parties.

Green Party source: "Our candidate selection is done at local level by democratic vote of all the members of the local party. Any decision to stand aside or stand a joint candidate would be for local party to make - probably requiring an emergency meeting of the local party..."
"...The national party has absolutely no role in the affair. Highly unlikely that there would be any appetite from either local or national party though." This collaboration could be remarkably short lived.
