Narrative Battlelines.

At @EtherealSummit I'm speaking about narratives that can inspire highly divergent views. I'd love to bring some perspective from the crowd.

Would love to see what you all think about Governance, Smart Contract Wars, Tokens, Dev Incentives, and DeFi 👇
First, governance. A topic that has been hugely discussed throughout 2019.

To you, are governance innovations (particularly on-chain approaches)
Second, the Smart Contract Wars. With so many platforms & protocols launching, what do you think is most likely?

*note "developer agnosticism" refers to the idea that devs will focus less on ideal and build with whatever offers them the best tools.
Tokenization is back on the agenda. What do you think the most important topic around tokens is today?

*note - the token-removing forks choice refers to projects that get forked to have their native token removed
Dev Incentives. The year kicked off with Grin's much discussed "fair launch," but challenges in terms of dev funding that are exemplary of a larger question of the right way to incentivize developer participation.

What's more important?
Lastly, DeFi. DeFi has rightly created a huge amount of excitement as more and more experiments generate more and more activity. Some worry however that it is just leverage on leverage and doomed in its current incarnation. How worried about today's DeFi applications are you?
