Are all expensive to deliver. They can't be cheap except through subsidy. The big question, Is Nigeria rich enough to subsidize these power, healthcare and education?

I read the response to the tweet by Gov Akeredolu from students of Adekunle Ajasin University. 30k per semester as school fees is what they can afford.

To be honest, what quality of University education can 30k provide? 30k can't fund creche fees for a toddler, monthly in Lagos.

Do people intend to go to the University to fulfill a trend or for quality education?

We don't produce enough drugs, hospital equipment, reagents, consumables and doctors. We import almost everything but we want cheap healthcare..How?

The revenues generated by very low electricity tariffs can't even cover the cost of producing and supplying power. Nigeria has one of the lowest electricity tariffs in Africa.

We keep believing that cheap is cool even when the odds are against us.
